Our staff here at the Veterinary Hospital of Dillon is comprised of a group of compassionate animal caregivers, many of whom are Dillon natives that have assisted us in building our practice since the beginning. The Veterinary Hospital of Dillon has employed many local college students that have gone onto veterinary colleges throughout the nation and have become successful in their profession. Dr. Derek Brown
A graduate of Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Derek Brown was born and raised in Eastern Nebraska with a lifelong love for animals. He moved to central Montana in 1997 and spent two years in a mixed animal practice. Shortly thereafter, he began his own veterinary relief business serving in several clinics in Montana and Wyoming. Derek and his wife, Lynn, bought the Veterinary Hospital of Dillon in the summer of 2000. He enjoys the large animal side of veterinary medicine. In addition to his practice, Derek enjoys fishing, hunting, alpine skiing, and most other outside activities.
Dr. Lynn Brown
Dr. Lynn Brown graduated from Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1995. She was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska. Dr. Brown worked in a small animal practice in Kansas City, Missouri, until she married Dr. Derek Brown and moved to central Montana in 1997. Dr. Brown was employed at The Animal Center in Helena, Montana until 2000. At that time she and her husband, Derek, purchased the Veterinary Hospital of Dillon. Dr. Lynn Brown’s interests are in Internal Medicine and Ophthalmology. In her free time she enjoys cooking, skiing, and spending time with her Idaho Shaggy, Sydney, and her cat Jeter; and helping Derek with his herd of cattle.
Dr. Judy Anderson
Dr. Judy Anderson graduated from Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1971. She was raised on a ranch in Northern Montana near Choteau where she grew fond of the veterinary profession. After graduation Dr. Anderson worked for several small animal hospitals in Great Falls and Helena. She moved to Dillon in 1979, where she was employed by the Veterinary Hospital of Dillon. Dr. Anderson enjoys all aspects of small animal medicine and surgery. When not at the hospital, she enjoys traveling the world, collecting dolls and spending time with her daughter Amber, who is currently employed as an electrical engineer in Tucson, Arizona. Her current four legged companions include her dog Ginger and Moca her cat.
